We begin at the cutting table, but never end there. A garment only becomes itself when somebody lives in it.

The line of a coat shifts with a shoulder. Silk collects light differently at noon and after dusk. Those changes are the work.

A useful kind of beauty

We return to the body again and again. A fitting is less about correction than observation: how does this person stand, turn, pause, reach?

A beautiful line must leave room for those ordinary gestures. That is where an idea becomes a wardrobe.

AN APLOMB NOTE

Thank you for reading. The conversation continues in the atelier, in the collection, and in the moments between.
