An assured coat does not need to feel like armor. Its most interesting quality may be the space it leaves around the body.
We started with the shoulder and then took something away. The lapel has presence, the waist remains easy, and the hem moves with the stride.
The fitting
At each fitting, we watched what happened after the mirror. The way a hand found a pocket told us more than a perfect static pose.
The resulting silhouette is confident because it is comfortable being lived in.
